Drumming up interest across the art world, Whittle is a London based camera-less photographer, whose original works are created in the solitude of a cave.
His striking and almost other-worldly pieces are formed using magnesium to scar and mark photographic paper in darkness - a process the Lancashire born photographer has taken three years to perfect. Citing his influences as science and the spiritual, Whittle often compares himself to a shaman. Now working towards his first solo exhibition in the summer, Whittle also works with the charity Kids Company, helping disadvantaged children through art therapy.
